Appointments
Please call for our next available home visit time, and allow a minimum of 45 minutes for your appointment time. Dr. Wilson may come to your home with or without a technician, as your needs dictate or as he sees fit.
For new clients, existing veterinary records should be sent by email or faxed prior to the appointment which will allow Dr. Wilson to be prepared for your house call.
Preparation
In preparation for Dr. Wilsons visit, it is recommended that your pet(s) be placed in a comfortable, enclosed space one hour prior to the scheduled visit (this typically pertains to cats). Pets have a great way of sensing when they are going to seen by their doctor and may try to vanish and hide quickly.
House call visits are very similar to in office appointments. It begins with questions regarding your pet, collecting client information, forms and a physical exam. Depending on your pets needs, the visit and services given can vary greatly. On some occasions, Dr. Wilson may request a re-check/follow-up visit. This return visit provides an opportunity for reevaluation and allows the doctor to determine if any additional diagnostics and/or treatments are needed for the optimal health of your pet.
